Tomo, Ho-Bo Care Boxer, professional napper and Dog Scout Cadet participated in a walk this past weekend with Colorado Dog Scout Troop #213 and in his efforts earned his “Clean Up America 2” badge which requires each dog/handler duo to find, pick up and properly dispose of at least 50 separate piles of dog excrement left behind by irresponsible dog owners in public places. Tomo helped by packing out bagged piles in his backpack.
Tomo plans to take the Dog Scout test this Spring to graduate from Cadet and earn his "Dog Scout of America" title so he can continue to work on badges while learning new skills!

What a wonderful pup...can I hire him to carry Maxine and Nemo's "bags"? It seems I have to carry theirs. (:

ReplyDeleteGood job Tomo & Mom!!
ReplyDeleteI have not heard of dog scouts before either - looks like fun. It is great that you are cleaning up after others, but it is a shame that you have to.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work.
