Peabody and his Boxer sister Maxine, trying for kisses.
Nemo and Peabody have a bit of competition going on...Nemo sits and waits til Peabody takes off flying and them races after him. He is waiting in this picture.
Peabody is just made for the camera isn't he?
I'm sure this post has made a certain girly very happy.

Oh they are both beautiful , that's too funny, I'm pretty sure my fur kids would eat the pretty bird!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fur/feather kids! In my household.. the rule is "if it doesn't make a run for it" it is usually safe... Jericho the cat made this rule and definitely holds his own.. :D
ReplyDeleteGreat pics of the family members :) I think my girls would have different ideas for a feathered house guest :(
ReplyDeleteI've had parrots in the past, my dogs and cats have always been trustworthy with them, a few fosters I wouldn't trust with them tho.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, I like to see others who are successful too.
Beautiful Peabody! Nemo looks like Cole does at my cat, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI love all the pics of you kids, Lynn
Bev Hayes and the kids.
I thought you all might like a little "Peabody" history. It has taken almost 2 years for Maxine and Nemo to accept him. I rescued him at the vet's office where I was working, Peabody was found by some high schoolers just walking around in town. They brought him to the vet's office. I called all the shelters and bird stores in the area and no one had reported him missing. He will be 4 yrs old in April. We have allowed him to have full flight, so he can fly from the fur kids if necessary. He travels with us in summer months on the boat and seems to enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteGirlie giggled heartily at Peabody trying to give kisses!
ReplyDeleteShe also thinks it is good exercise for both Peabody and Nemo
Upon a massive transgression against those called brothers... Girlie wad banished from the room today.
ReplyDelete"I will only apologize if I can see Peabody!!!" was the stomping off to her room comment.
Once I stopped laughing, negotiations began.
Apparently Peabody is allowed to yell at his siblings...
Still laughing over here.
