Moby's New Toy

Today we're checking in with our Nevada Boxer, Moby.

Moby is a Toy Monster once in a while.  He got a new one just after this first pic, and is absolutely crazy about it, and yes, it squeaks just a bit. He even sleeps with it, but this will soon pass, of course.

In this pic, Moby was actually beaning, but alas, this is not a video.  He is also making sure that I am not going after the Green Monster toy, as the perpetual puppy that he is.

Cute or what?!?

Here is Moby with his mini-me Boston buddy, who is not yet allowed to play
with the new toy.

OK, in this pic he really looks grey! He's nine years old but you would never know it.

Mack, Birthday Boy

Any Boxer in the double digit club is worthy of celebration and in this case our boy of the day turned 11 last week.

Here are a few of photos from Mack's birthday. I made a homemade gingerbread instead of box-mix birthday cake ~ it didn't taste half bad!  hahaha   One picture I had posted on Facebook this morning, but the other 3 are exclusive for your blog and the BML members.

Brindle Check-in

We have another update from the Brindle. He's still keeping busy and loves hanging out with his nana. Special bonus today, at the end is a video of Max playing in the yard with nana.

Summer is the best time of year.

Hoping supper will be ready soon...

Showing off his new trick, ready for his pedi.

Watching the birds.

Happy Pups!

I don't know that there is anything better than knowing your dogs are a happy bunch. Like the ones in the photos today.

The first two pictures are of Caddie doing what she loves to do when she is outside...scootching on the ground.

The third picture is Caddie's favorite sleeping position on the couch...on her back and legs up in the air.

The fourth picture is of Zoe sleeping comfortably on the couch.  She doesn't sleep like this often, but she does it once in awhile.

The fifth and sixth pictures are of Zoe smiling after a good play session with her sister, Caddie.  They ran and chased for quite awhile before I was able to take this picture.

The last picture is of Zoe watching mom out the window while I worked out in the yard.  She loves to do this when someone is in the backyard.

Smart Little Lady (part II)

Today with the rest of the photos of Hayley demonstrating that Agility comes easy for her. In case anyone wants to know, pretty Hayley is 2 1/2 years old.

Smart Little Lady (part I)

One of our agility competitors was recently regaling us with stories of her "baby" girl's aptitude for that sport. She sent in some terrific photos to backup her story.

Hayley's instructor finally sent me some great pictures from class.  Hayley took her very first class late last year and now has mastered every piece of equipment on an agility course.  I think her favorite is the teeter, it is definitely an E-Ticket ride!

I expect her to be competing by January if not earlier.  We still need a bit of work on self control so I am not rushing her.

Reporting In

Those of us in the military know that one of the first things you do in a new location is report in to your Sergeant Major. Being a good little Boxer Sieg Adam had to do this as well. In Sieg's case his Sgt Maj is a family friend, a lovely Brindle guy who was a rescue and is blind.

There were also two lovely ladies to meet, Sgt Maj's sisters Lilly Rose and Heidi.

Heidi fell in love with Sieg the minute he arrived and was a perfect hostess. She told her "mom & dad" that she needs a puppy of her own.

Doggie and The Gang

An update on one of our favourites, Doggie and the crazy pack she's trying to teach all the things to. Doggie is such a character.

Just took pictures - it was very pretty out.

First is Doggie in a huge hole under the camper.

Then Katie the sheepdog mix took it over because there was thunder to the south of us and she is fearful of storms.

GG sunning herself.

CBGB looking for something to get into in the barn.

Mr. Indoor Comfort Eric. I actualy have to lock him out of the house sometimes. He is the ultimate couch potato.

This is the pups' dad. Both people that had him at the time he fathered the litter with a stray living on their farm have passed away and a mutual friend has him now. He is 11 years old.

Puppies Down Under

I've been very excited to do this post ever since I got the photos. Because if one puppy is cute, what is a whole litter?

*****

I have finally gotten around to getting some pictures to you if you want to place them on your blog.  I know a few people have asked me to send you some so here they are.

There were 5 born 4 had naturally long tails and one is a natural short tail. 1 Tan Girl, 1 Flashy Tan Girl & Short Tail Brindle girl. 2 Brindle Boys.

They were born 8th April 2013, the photos of them in the whelping box were when they were about a week old. The others have been taken since they turned 6 weeks old.

They all have names Plain Tan girl is SJ (Savana Junior) named after one of my breeding girls that I had to re-home because of her fighting with her sister, Brindle Short Tail Girl is Called Charlie. Flashy Tan Girl is London and she is going to her new forever home with her brother Cruz who is the one sitting nicely in the photos I sent. Last but not least the Lighter Brindle in the photo of three is Cooper Bruce.

They all have owners to go to who can't wait to collect them.

I am keeping Cruz & London for a while longer as the new owner wants to have them desexed and Trained up before he gets them as he works a fair bit and is unable to train them so I don't mind it just means I get to enjoy them more.

The Road Home (part II)

Today, continued from our last post, the rest of Sieg Adam's homeward journey.

My new brother Willie B sure is big but I'm going to grow up to be just like him.

And now that the truck is moving I can snooze again.

Such a handsome fella! Now it's time for bed, it's been a long day for such a little guy.

The best bed in the house, Sieg snuggles in with his mentor and big brother Willie B.
