Puppy With Plans (part 1)

Back in March the BML received one of those kinds of emails that makes everyone smile. This one was from the land of Sarkel and announced the healthy arrival of a number of wee ones to make us all smile. What we didn't know is that one of those babies had some plans in store for him.

At the time he was known as Paddy. I've since been told his "official" name is Sarkel's Out of Step but he'll be known as Sieg. Sieg's job? Well he's going to be the understudy to Willie B and if all goes well he will one day step up to be Rachel's "eyes".

In the mean time he's just a busy little cutie-pie.
Grubby boy after his first "food".
Play time is important!

Whether you know what you're doing or not.
Determined little guy (bonus, Bogie Bear's bum)
And you have to spend time with ALL the family

  1. Sieg is adorable! And I love the name. My first knowledge of Ann Gilbert was when I bought her book Sieg the Magnificent many years ago at a dog show. I'm sure this little guy will turn out to be magnificent, too.

  9. When this little guy was born I knew he was destine for a place in Rachel's heart. She had mentioned to me sometime ago that she would be looking for a service dog in training for Willie B once he reached retirement age :) It took Rachel and Wayne only a short period to time to decide Paddy now Sieg was the one for them - I knew it before they did :) Could not ask for a better home for this fabulous puppy and I look forward to lot's of Sieg stories to come.
