I'm going to toss out another personal update today, because my birthday was last weekend.
I decided to go on a day trip to Paris. This amuses me because I've spent lots of birthdays in Paris, it just wasn't Paris France.
A good friend went along with me to be my tour guide and interpreter and that was the best part of the day. Because it wasn't so much about the touristy stuff as punctuating tourism stops with wine or beer stops.
So here's a little of our day.

| The requisite Eiffel Tower shot. |
| Jim Morrison's grave in the Cimetière du Père-Lachaise. |
| A glorious sign of spring. |
| The shopping corridor where we found Malabrigo yarn. |
| Arènes de Lutèce, a Roman amphitheatre. |
| Birthday dessert, cheese, red wine & vieux calvados. |
| Taking a photo of Cinderella's carriage and horse. |

For anyone that might be concerned, the Brindle had a lovely weekend with Uncle Jerry and Uncle Mark.
