Meeting Millie, part I

This is kind of a double introduction, a new BML member sending in photos so we can all see why she joined what some might call our cult.

The text of the email said:

"I'm new to the Boxer Mailing List and everyone has been asking me to see some pictures of our newly adopted Boxer Millie. They told me to send them to you and you can post them on your blog. Millie is 5 years old and we adopted her August 18th from Second Chance Boxer Rescue in Maine. She's our first dog and Boxer together with my husband. She's brindle with some really cool white markings. Some days she acts 5 but most days she acts like a puppy. We have only had her for a short while and she is so attached and bonded to us people think we have had her her whole life. I'm attaching some photos of her so everyone can see what she looked like before we got her and now that she has been with us a while."

For today I picked out the photos from Millie's first days with her new family. She looks a little nervous in these but I promise she didn't take long to get over it.
