Farewell Sweet Ella

Today is a sad day for the BML, the end of an era of sorts. Our dear friend is without a Boxer for the first time in a very long time and we all send our sympathies, hugs and love to her.

I had featured Ella just a few weeks ago and this is my favourite picture from that post. We'll miss you pretty girl.

    Such a pretty girl, one of the luckiest ever to be able to spend her seniors years with the Ulmers....

    I had the joy of meeting Ella. What a sweet, sweet girl. She had the best of homes and she knew it. She loved to run - boy, did she love to run. So, Ella ... run free! We will miss you.

    Having been lucky enough to paint this lovely face, the one thing I have noticed about Ella, in EVERY photo, is she "smiled with her eyes," a smile I will always remember.

    A boxer farewell to Ella and a heartfelt hug to Diane. Ella had a grand life full of everything a boxer could ever want including the most important things LOVE. Your comfort is knowing she and Dale are once again together.

    Sweet Ella run free! She will be sadly missed by all. She will find Dale at that heavenly bridge. Diane - God bless you and know that our prayers go out to you in this trying time.
