A Little of Asia (part 1)

Was anyone wondering where I was? Well if you were here's part one. (warning, there are no Boxers here)

The end of January through the beginning of February I had the opportunity to go on an amazing trip to Thailand. I was engaging in serious underwater therapy with the SHAPE Sub Aqua Club and spent five days aboard the Junk June Hong Chian Lee cruising around the Similan Islands, Surin and Richelieu Rock.

How could I not share? So here's a little sampling of when we weren't underwater and hopefully when the club photo sharing is done I'll be able to show you some of the sea life.

The first day we went to see elephants and found these babies.

Unfortunately he was too big for my suitcase.

This wasn't our first view of the Junk, that was at night, but this one shows just how pretty she is.

This was just one of the amazing views in the Similan Islands.

The Junk's Boatswain dressed the pirate part on our last day at sea.

The most amazing dive group a person could ask for, enjoying a few margaritas.

Look closely at this one. Go figure the first flag I saw back in port was Canadian.
