You think you want a young Boxer? You think that a senior isn't right for you? Maybe Hanni can change your mind.
**********
I guess somethings in life change....... I don't know what happened to my hooman but they did take care of me. Now I'm feeling a bit lost and boy I sure am hungry. This new place is really noisy and it smells like bad news. A couple of the hoomans here seem nice but they look at me with pity and say PTS list with sad eyes.... I hear "rescue" and they pat my head when they say it so it's gotta be a good thing............hope so this place sucks.

RIDE RIDE RIDE!! I love car rides!! I got to go for a car ride today!!! far far far.....cookies ....fresh air...hours of rides!! Got to meet another new hooman...she has a car...I like cars...her car has blankets in it . I laid down and napped in this car but stuck my head thru from the back seat cause I didn't want to miss looking at this hooman for one minute. Oh HI! 2 other dogs!! They seem nice. I like my new place. The hoomans give me 3 meals a day!!! Say i need to fatten up....

I got really sick for a few days with what they called kennel cough......hooman female stayed up all night with me cause if I laid my head down I would choke. But it finally went away and I feel so much better. I hear the hoomans talk about how they brought me in for "hospice" care. That they wanted me to know I was loved when I passed.
I guess it turns out though that I'm not as old as they thought and that actually I'm really healthy. The female hooman calls me "fat" now...i dont know what "fat" is but you should try it 'cause its awesome!!

What a great story. He looks like a love bug
ReplyDeleteGreat story! Sure do love Hanni's outlook on life, especially fat is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI love this story. Hannibal seems very loved. It is always great to h ear that the "old ones" get their chance at lots of love before they leave us. I love gray faces anyway. This was a "sad/happy" story - tears of joy for Hannibal.
ReplyDeleteTears of joy for Hanni!! So glad that rescue got you into a home with playmates and food, and now you get to go for car rides all the time!! Sometimes life hands you lemons and you get to make lemonade :)
ReplyDeleteJessie, Zoe, and Caddie in MI wishing you many more years of happiness Hanni!!
Hanni has it made for sure! I hope for what ever time he has left, that he stays relatively healthy and happy
ReplyDeleteLove a gray boxer face.
ReplyDeleteHanni's story brought tears of sadness and tears of joy! What a lovely fellow!
ReplyDeleteMy gosh ... and nobody wants to adopt this wonderful dog? He's gorgeous and he has a great smile. ☺
ReplyDeleteHanni was taken into foster as a "compassionate care" dog to spend his last few days being loved. When it turned out he was tougher and healthier than anyone knew he became a "foster failure" for him mama and she loves him dearly. He's like a mascot for our rescue area.
DeleteHanni's story is wonderful and uplifting. So glad he still living life to the fullest.
ReplyDeleteSuch a happy ending.... so glad Hanni has more time to be loved!! And fat!!;)
