Brittany is one of the 6 boxers we rescued from the backyard breeder in Lehigh Acres. They were terrified, having never been outside their enclosed shed. They had to be carried to our cars. They had interacted with each other, the breeder and nobody else.
Brittany was by FAR the most terrified. She's been staying with a behaviorist to help her come out of her shell and has made great progress. It's time for her to expand her horizons and learn how to adjust outside of her comfort zone.

Brittany is certainly one lucky lady and pretty too
ReplyDelete...keep up the good work Max and Carrie!!!
Brittany is a beautiful girl ... I'm sure the Brindle will help her learn the finer points of living in a home vs a breeder's cage.
ReplyDeleteThank you to you, Steve and the brindle for helPing her!
ReplyDeleteSad that a dog has to go thru this kind of ordeal, but I am happy that she is finding out that life can be good. Thanks to Carrie and Max for sharing their home with this beautiful girl.
ReplyDeleteBrittany has hit the jackpot by being fostered with you and The Brindle. It sounds like she is slowly coming out of that shell and I have no doubt she will blossom into the Boxer she was meant to be.

Himself is going to teach her lots of things and I think you will be amazed at how she comes around. It will be slow, but she'll get there. She's a real cutie pie ... thanks for sharing the photos!!
ReplyDeleteBetween your love and the Brindle teaching her stuff - she will act like a real dog soon. Thank you for taking her in.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking her in and helping her learn to live a normal life. Max will teach her the ropes.
ReplyDeleteIt will be a wonderful experience for you, Max and Brittany to watch how she really comes out of her shell. She is a sweetie!
