Introducing Keela

A while back, New Years Eve actually, I announced to the BML that I had a new fur niece. I was so excited and I still am.

My sister keeps an eye on the classified ads and generally if there is a Boxer she will try to connect them to Boxer Rescue Ontario. Not this time, this time she called for herself. It took some time, a bit of back and forth, but eventually this little fawn girl who went by the name Tequila moved in.

She brought along a few things of her own, like her green sheep, but much of what she has is hand-me-downs. Her collar and leash belonged to Kate and/or Spencer (probably Spencer) and I'm sure they would be pleased.

One very special special thing about wee Keela, she has a natural tail. Isn't it cute as she plays in the snow?

Some of you may remember Paddy from a previous post, well Keela and he have reached some sort of agreement that allows her to use him as a pillow. Sorry this one is a bit blurry, my sister has a hard time holding the camera still when she's laughing.

It's a good thing Paddy is ok with that because who would want to sleep like this all the time?
Finally, my niece took this last one. It's kind of a follow up to some she took of herself with the Brindle. She captioned this one: "One should probably be jealous of my dog, its only natural."

    1. Common question but no. Keela is in Canada and the Brindle is in Florida so they haven't met. She however is using a lot of his stuff, like his crate which I'm kind of surprised she doesn't get lost in.

  10. Congrats! She's a beauty. Why would anyone want to get rid of her in the first place? Just glad to hear she found a wonderful new home.
