Another intro today, of another lovely Boxer lady.
We lost Mz Petey back in October and about a month later were contacted by her rescue about a new young Female boxer. Of course we jumped at the chance so I would like to introduce Lily. She’s estimated to be around 2 now. She came into rescue with the tick borne disease (anaplasmosis) and was discovered to have a genetic liver disease (hepatic microvascular dysplasia). Of course that did not stop us from bringing her home and as long as we keep her on a low protein diet her disease should be manageable.
Jack, our little chihuahua, was excited to have a new big lady to follow around. They have become quite companionable.
Lily is all boxer and has no problem stealing my chair.
She loves everyone but, sometimes, finds it hard to get everyone in her loving embrace. Here she tries her hardest with my husband (left) and uncle (right).
She also has the boxer drool down pat.

Lily looks like she's right at home ... she looks like a real sweetheart. :)
ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHahaha I adore the picture of her trying to fit in 2 laps! Lily is lovely (& Jack is cute, too)!

A good looking girlie to be sure and appears to have settled in just like a true boxer.....maximum comfort achieved. And the drool is spectacular. Full boxer girlie, no doubt about it. Donna in WestOR
ReplyDeleteLily is a very lucky girl! :-)
