Ms Petey's Checkup

Today is the story of a milestone as told by Ms Petey's "mom".

We adopted Ms Petey From Boxer Friends Rescue out of Miami in October 2005 at approximately 6-9 months of age.  She came to us with a lot of physical and emotional scars.

Even after all these years Mz Petey is not excited about a routine vet visit.  As you can see she is only willing to go part way into the room and nowhere near the table or vet.

Her usual place is right in front of the door where she lays and pants.

She did however reach a milestone yesterday at the vet.  After all these years she finally allowed her nails to be trimmed and did not need a muzzle.

  1. Mz. Petey, I'm so happy that you finally let the vet trim your nails for you :) Keep up the good work. Going to the vet isn't a bad thing. They just want to help you stay healthy.

    Hugs Mz. Petey,
Jessie, Zoe, & Caddie who doesn't like going to the vet much either.

  3. First we get to see amazing Boxers catching fish, dipping their heads under the water (which mine would NEVER do), and today we get to see a terrific looking girl who has had a breakthrough (again, not one that my Moby has had yet). Thank you Carrie for making my days.....
