There were a couple of also rans today but I had to go with one that is not only a favourite but written by someone I know, Jenna Bailey. I attended her book release in Toronto, at her invitation, with my copy of the book in hand. Please forgive the picture, it was taken with my phone and I had been caught in the rain getting there.
What she wrote made me teary and still does when I look at it. She was also kind enough to have autographed a copy that I donated to Ringette Skates for a Cure ~ Ottawa as a raffle item.
The book is "Can Any Mother Help Me".
