Farewell Sweet Ella

Today is a sad day for the BML, the end of an era of sorts. Our dear friend is without a Boxer for the first time in a very long time and we all send our sympathies, hugs and love to her.

I had featured Ella just a few weeks ago and this is my favourite picture from that post. We'll miss you pretty girl.

Quinn and Jade

An update today on one of the youngsters to the BML, Quinn, and his sister Jade.

From their mom:

Quinn was 5 months old on the 8th of September.  He has been a relatively quiet puppy so far, but he appears to be growing out of that.  He found a skein of yarn and he and Jade had some fun with it.  Of course, once he was done, the yarn will have to be disposed as I don't think that I want to try and unravel it.

The pic of Quinn on the foam mat is back when we first got him.  We started puppy class soon after we picked up Quinn - he was 11 weeks old, and tired out very easily.  He was digging in the sand and wouldn't stop, so I picked him up and he promptly feel asleep on my shoulder.  When he woke up I put him back on the mat and he promptly went to sleep.  Very relaxed puppy then!
