Mz Petey's Gotcha Weekend

It's been a while and what better way to fire the blog back up then a big celebration? Mz Petey and her family wanted to share.

**********

Mz Petey came into our lives on October 3, 2005 when we adopted her from Boxer Friends in south Florida.  She was under a year when we adopted her but she came with quite a bit of emotional/physical issues. She’s come a long way in 10 years and has certainly made a big impact on our lives.
#2 – She has learned to deliver subliminal messages such as “feed me” through her big brown eyes.
#3 – She is very attentive to rustling sounds coming from the kitchen.
#4 – She patrols the yard daily keeping us safe from the likes of opossum, armadillos and cats.
#5 – For the last 3 years she’s had a constant shadow who worships and adores her to the point of irritation at times.
#6 – Mz Petey has an inoperable malignant mast cell tumor growing on her side.  We’ve opted to let her enjoy her remaining days doing what she enjoys most.  We do not know how many days she has left but, for every one she does, she will be loved and cherished.
