You
mentioned being short on pictures, so I've attached a few - this set is
all Riley, our all-natural 4 year old girl who rules the roost. These are
some of my favorite pictures of her over the years.
We started using a couple small dog beds for her to stay close while I
was in my office or in the kitchen when she was a puppy. She quickly
outgrew them, but tried to use them as long as possible. They are now
toy baskets since she can't fit, and we have replaced them with much
larger dog beds.
Riley hamming it up for the camera - sort of reminds me of those
distorted pics where they make the dog nose real big :-)
She has a habit of sitting cockeyed but sort of upright, and it reminds
us of Bill the Cat from the old Bloom County comic strip… So when she
does this, we call her Bill - not sure she gets it since she wasn't born
when Bloom County was still published.
This pic is her in the back yard taking a break from playing with
Austen, whose tan ear is barely visible in the foreground.
This is in the backyard of our previous house where our neighbor had a
large dog that was very sweet and who held Riley's attention as she
wandered around on her tie-out. Her name was Bacon, which is probably
part of the reason she & Riley got along so well.
